Hollywood's Ideology (and how it's different than Bollywood's)

Hollywood movies aren't for everyone. They are famous for the unexplained plot and missing details about the story that makes them confusing to the audience.
Almost all major Hollywood films have what they call an open ending (some even have an open beginning). Hollywood believes that movies that give every single detail to the audience are just for entertainment and don't leave an impact on viewer's mindset, perception, or beliefs. . Even if they try to teach something by these movies, the viewers are most likely to just brag about this for some time and then forget.
In contrast, movies that can get us to actually think about what happened in the story can leave a deep impact on the viewer's mindset. Christopher Nolan, one of the most successful directors in Hollywood, does not believe in a linear timeline, rather a zig-zag timeline where each sequence involves the events of past, present, and the future happening simultaneously, explaining a bit of the story every time a sequence is complete.
But Why? Who do such films leave an impact while the longer, funnier, and more entertaining ones don't? Because you never think about the longer, funnier, and more entertaining ones after you've watched 'em. Not really. You only think how much you loved a character or a dialogue but not about the plot, which is what's important for an impact. Most Bollywood movies fail to leave an impact because they focus too much on particular scenes. They play loud music in the background, for the audience to get in the mood and try to limit distractions so the audience has full attention to the sequence. This works really well when we talk about short-term impact but this impact was created by a sequence, not a story; this and Bollywood's reduced attention to the overall structure of the plot leads to a decrease in long term focus and impact, and hence, most people forget the lessons that movie tried to teach in a very short span of time.
Hollywood, on the other hand, will give you some really boring scenes (some so boring that you might even stop watching the movie). Although the scenes are boring, when you think about the movie, you will start getting intrigued by them. The more you watch it, the more sense those boring scenes make. This alone gets you to think about them and rewatch them. You notice more details about the story when you rewatch the boring scenes and you realize that what you thought boring is actually quite interesting. Some directors are so ruthless, they never explain their movies even a little bit (like Christopher Nolan). Nolan's movies confuse people and hence, start many conversations about how they can be explained, leaving a very deep impact on people's perspective over storytelling and movies.
Bollywood believes in entertainment and the short-term hormones you experience when watching movies.
Hollywood believes in engagement and the long-term impact that movies have.
