Interstellar Took Inspiration from NASA's Mars Rovers to Name Their Spacecraft (Short)

Interstellar is one of the greatest movies ever made, not just in the genre of space fiction but in the entirety of cinema that won a lot of awards, critics score as well as audiences' appreciation. Christopher Nolan put a lot of effort into this film, and it is arguably his most iconic masterpiece, considering he has more than one :) Nolan even hired a group of scientists so he could keep the science shown in the movie as real as possible and it was. It showed the most resembling depiction of a black hole, which was confirmed when the picture of a real black hole was compared with every depiction in mainstream sci-fi movies.

While naming the main spacecraft that Cooper flies through the wormhole in the movie, the crew took inspiration from the names of NASA's Mars rovers which are named Spirit, Opportunity, Perseverance, and Curiosity. Interstellar's crew went one step ahead in this series and named their spacecraft Endurance.

Matthew McConaughey will next be seen in The Batman, playing an undisclosed role, alongside Robert Pattinson as Batman and Zoƫ Kravitz as Catwoman. Christopher Nolan's last film, Tenet didn't do as good as his previous ones but fans have high hopes for his next project, whatever it is about.
